Macclesfield College is delighted to be involved in the Advanced Construction Training (ACT) project, funded by the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) which aims to develop digital skills in construction across Cheshire.
The project is led by Warrington and Vale Royal College and involves Cheshire College South and West, Reaseheath College and UTC Warrington.
As an ACT centre, we will support collaboration with employers to help them develop, adopt and promote digital technologies and skills training for the construction, nuclear and allied industries.
ACT will assist the industry to build high quality, smart, green and efficient buildings and building infrastructures, faster, cheaper and more sustainably than before. The programme will also support local targets to deliver affordable housing to enable communities to grow and prosper, using digitalised building techniques to assist in the delivery of greater number of affordable homes.
