Buinessiness Administration Apprentice (Customer and Community Engagement)


  • Provide general administration support to the Engagement and Partnerships Team.
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers requiring support in relation to community projects and activities.
  • Listening to customers to really understand their views, opinions and needs.
  • Liaise with customers needing support by referring them to relevant projects and updating records.
  • Assist with internal & external enquiries in relation to customer support, community projects, and engagement opportunities, by phone, email, MS Teams, and face to face as required.
  • Provide administration and customer service support as part of customer feedback opportunities through the engagement work.
  • Provide administration support relating to all stages of customer support including updating the customer’s housing management account, updating support forms, organising files, processing emails, and assisting in keeping an up-to-date record of all customers receiving support.
  • Assist the team in promoting projects and activities in the community and through social media, liaising with partner organisations, and Plus Dane colleagues.
  • Support projects and activities by liaising with customers to capture good news stories.
  • Assist the team in the planning and development of new projects and activities that help customers to find work, access training, and improve their wellbeing.
  • Assist the team in the smooth running of the Community Centres by keeping an up-to-date record of the weekly activity timetables, liaising with centre users, overseeing general enquiries, processing invoices, and helping with the promotion of new activities.
  • To gain an understanding of the projects and activities available to support customers and communities, and the impact of external factors such as the cost-of-living crisis.
