Digital Marketing Apprentice

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Following brand guidelines, support with the creation of engaging internal and external marketing materials and newsletters using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Support with the creation of digital campaigns using various platforms to build the organisation’s voice within the charity sector
  • Research methods of enhancing the organisations digital offer with the aim of generating an increase in service users and effective recruitment
  • Monitor and analyse online activity and recommend areas for improvement
  • Support the ongoing development of the organisation’s WordPress website by editing, creating and sharing content to raise user engagement and enhance the website SEO
  • Maintain a database of third party websites that promote our services, ensuring all content is up to date on a regular basis
  • Help to maintain the charity’s presence on social media, creating content and events which are engaging and relevant and use a social media management tool e.g. Hootsuite to ensure regular communication
  • Support with staff social media training workshops to help develop a community presence in all locations
  • Support with direct mailing and communication campaigns using Mailchimp
  • Encourage external support through donations, events and legacies, offering marketing and communication support to all funding streams
  • Provide support to staff for the development and brand compliance of marketing and promotional materials
  • To undertake any other administration duties requested by the Business Development team

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend internal meetings e.g., staff meetings as required
  • Contribute to effective team working across the organisation including all trustees, staff and  volunteers
  • At all times to act in accordance with Crossroads Together Code of Conduct and Confidentiality Policy
  • Work at all times within the philosophy and policies of Crossroads Together
  • Attend college days/training sessions for professional development and to meet the requirements of the Apprenticeship
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and children
  • Comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and with Carers Trust policy, paying particular attention to the reporting of dangerous situations
  • Commitment to developing quality by the implementation of Carers Trust quality evaluation tools along with any other standards set by Carers Trust

  • Actively promote and uphold energy efficiency in all areas and be aware of own environmental responsibility within the role, office and community including reusing, recycling and reducing waste

  • Salary: £185.00 - £259.00 weekly wage
