Digital Marketing/Sales Administrator Apprentice

This role offers a perfect opportunity for someone wanting to develop their Digital Marketing Skills in taking responsibility for advancing and growing the businesses’ digital/online sales for a very diverse range of products within different markets with the aim to establish for themselves a sustainable long-term career opportunity within the company once qualified, to then take full responsibility for the shaping and development of this side of the business whilst striving to improve through their own self-development

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Requirements:

  • Develop the businesses’ online presence and manage social media feeds and activity across all channels- (drafting, finding appropriate imagery, scheduling posts, seeking approvals, and publishing once approved)
  • Establish sales avenues on eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Wayfair and Facebook Marketplace
  • Draft blog posts for marketing promotions, seek approvals, and publish when approved
  • Manage our Communications schedule (ie keep it up to date, chase for copy/content, draft blogs when required)
  • Regularly scan on-line forums for news on the product ranges we are focusing to understand what users and competitors are doing, etc) to identify good news pieces for our newsletter/PR/articles for our websites/etc
  • Research and report on competitor marketing
  • Monitor and report on our web traffic
  • Respond to product key enquiries via our on-line help desk
  • Establish effective SEO for the different websites
  • Create regular email campaigns & new marketing material
  • Upload content to our Websites’ & landing pages
  • Accessing & understanding Google Analytics
  • Competitor & Industry research
  • Use their own initiative in providing administrative support to the management and sales team as required in a range of duties that include
  • Answering the telephone
  • Typing letters and emails and other correspondence/mailings, etc.
  • Logging customer’s enquiries
  • Resolving customer queries, order processing, delivery issues
  • Processing day-to-day customer orders for consumables and spare parts, compiling, monitoring and administrating sales reports and reconciliation of sales/orders being processed
  • Liaising with freight forwarders obtaining shipping/transport quotes and associated paperwork/shipping docs
