The Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care provides a wide range of underpinning knowledge for the National Occupational Standards in Health and Social Care, therefore acting as a robust introduction to the sector.
Join the Health Academy to gain relevant qualifications, undertake invaluable work experience and develop a greater understanding of specific aspects of healthcare. Your work experience placement with include 175 hours over the two year course, providing excellent opportunities to broaden your skillset.

The course covers a range of subjects including Anatomy and Physiology, Human Life Span Development, Safeguarding, Public Health, Complementary Therapies and much more, to provide you with comprehensive knowledge of a variety of healthcare aspects.
Your subject knowledge will be assessed in a variety of ways. This may include essays, presentations, observations, portfolios and external assessments. Furthermore, your work placement will allow you to put your learning into practice, receive feedback and gain valuable employability skills.
