There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification and you are not expected to have any prior knowledge or experience, however an interest in the subject area is advisable and a level of Maths and English is advisable.
This qualification and course, is designed for those people who have a keen interest in the automotive industry or would like to understand vehicle fundamentals and knowledge of routine maintenance, saving you on basic garage repair costs. This route is also your first steps into the automotive industry or to help you with basic maintenance of your own vehicle, should you choose this career path. Our experienced instructors will provide hands-on training, ensuring you leave with a solid understanding of the ins and outs of vehicle maintenance.
You will be required to supply your own safety shoes and suitable work clothing.
Practical assessment and online multiple-choice exam are to be completed to show your knowledge within the area.

After this course you may consider the Level 2 car maintenance qualifications and develop your knowledge further.
