Would you like to learn how to improve your personal health and wellbeing or are you looking to prepare for further learning or training in this subject area?
This qualification will introduce you to the importance of health and well-being, how to make improvements through understanding these concepts and the positive effects of exercise on your long-term health. You will also look at exercising and nutritional requirements to prepare and implement a personal exercise plan.

Content
This qualification is designed for learners who wish to develop knowledge and understanding of how to improve their own personal exercise, health and nutrition.
The objectives of this qualification are to help learners gain an understanding of:
• the impact of diet, nutrition and exercise on their personal health
• safe and appropriate exercise
• the importance of personal motivation and setting goals and targets.
Assessment
To be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Improving Personal Exercise, Health and Nutrition, learners are required to successfully complete 3 mandatory units.
