Overview
The purpose of this qualification is to educate individuals in spotting signs of self-harm and suicide and helping to prevent further harm by encouraging individuals to seek help. The qualification is designed to apply to a range of circumstances, including upskilling individuals with a safeguarding responsibility in workplaces.
Entry Requirements
Age – 19+
Cost – £40 per head
£20 per head with Chamber of Commerce/ Hospital

4 units consisiting of
Introduction to suicide and self-harm awareness
Recognising the signs of suicide and self-harm in individuals
The principles of suicide and self-harm prevention
Support for individuals when dealing with grief after suicide
Assessment
Tutor Marked Units (Subject to IQA)
