Student Protocols in line with Government Guidance – with effect 17 May 2021

 

Face coverings are no longer required to be worn in the classroom, corridors or communal areas. However, in certain circumstances you will be required to wear a face covering for example, workshops, salons, training kitchen and other industry related areas. Guidance will be provided by your teaching staff

The current one-way system of moving around the College will cease, however social distancing when travelling inside the College should be respected

All other COVID-19 measures will continue to apply including:

  • Personal Hygiene measures
  • Sanitisation of all shared resources
  • Respect the maximum number of persons allowed in each room
  • Lift users are restricted to one user unless with a carer
  • Daily temperature testing upon arrival at each building and during lunch-time periods
  • All PPE should continue to be worn compliant with role requirements

Face coverings are still required on public transport/ College Buses in line with government guidance

Other external guidance remains in place

Face coverings are required in:

  • Shops
  • Public Transport
  • Indoor Hospitality settings (Rule of 6 applies)
