We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual in the position of Assistant Principal – Curriculum to support the Vice Principal Curriculum and Quality in delivering outstanding standards in student achievement, progression and outcomes whilst promoting a culture of excellence with a focus on high expectations and continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for line managing the Curriculum Business Leads and developing high levels of accountability through effective target setting and performance management.
With a strong commitment to both the professional and personal development of all College academic staff you will have a full understanding of quality standards and a sound understanding of the current FE/HE climate.
Possessing a degree or equivalent you will have a Cert Ed/PGCE teaching qualification together with Level 2 English /Mathematics /ICT qualifications and will be able to evidence a proven successful record of high quality teaching, assessing and improving quality within the Further Education sector.
With recent curriculum management experience you will also possess exceptional oral and communication skills and have a natural ability to work effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to both inform, influence and build relationships.
