The Role:

The college is looking for proactive, confident and enthusiastic full-time Learning Facilitator, to complement the Student Services team in offering the right support for young people with additional needs, ensuring they are successful in their chosen course. You will support groups and/or individual students who have been assessed and identified as requiring additional learning and support.

You will need to be a good communicator with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of people at all levels. The post-holder will need to be well organised and possess good time management skills and problem solving skills, whilst having the ability to work on your own initiative.

You will be committed and motivated by the shared values of the College and will have recent and successful experience of working with learners aged from a diverse age range and recent and successful experience of working with people with a range of disabilities and learning needs.

In addition, as part of the role you may also be required to assist students, with their personal care needs and mobility between lessons.
