This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Sports department at Macclesfield College and to create a ‘centre of excellence’ with our new football academies, including Macclesfield Town Football Club. We want the successful candidate to have recent football coaching and teaching experience within the sector, and to be a driving force working alongside football clubs to deliver exciting provision to our football academy learners both within the College, and at external venues in the Stockport area.
The post will involve the marketing, delivery and assessment of a range of courses across the Sports curriculum from Level 2 to Level 4. You will also be required to have some course leadership and internal verification responsibilities, as well as liaising with local/regional football clubs as part of our football academies.

Applicants must possess a degree or equivalent appropriate qualification, and a Teaching Qualification to the required national standards. Level 2 in English, Mathematics & ICT qualifications are essential as is a commitment to attainment of student success.
