Macclesfield College is looking to recruit an individual who has an extensive background in the electrical sector to join their Maxim Business Training team. Your role will be to support and deliver 121 training to apprentices out in the workplace and to liaise with their employers to ensure our learners are having a first class experience on their apprenticeship, both in college and out in the workplace.
Although experience in training and/or assessing is desirable it is more important that you are highly skilled in your relevant sector and you have the passion to share your knowledge, skills and experience with individuals who are just starting out.
Applicants must possess a recognised qualification in the Electrical sector and have Level 2 English and Mathematics qualifications.
• To deliver high quality training both in college and off site, using an appropriate range of methods to facilitate and support learning and achievement
• To conduct assessment with a high level of competence fulfilling all audit requirements
• To assess accurately individual training needs and to design individual training programmes to achieve planned outcomes within defined timescales in line with College processes and procedures
• To motivate and inspire employees to raise aspirations, promote effort, maintain momentum and encourage progression to higher levels
