T Levels are new, two-year, technical study programmes, designed with employers to give young people the skills that industry needs.

T Levels will provide a mixture of:

• Technical knowledge and skills specific to a chosen industry or occupation
• An industry placement of at least 45 days in their chosen industry or occupation
• Relevant Maths, English and digital skills

The Level 2 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care covers a variety of topics that link to health and social care which will allow you to explore the sector in more detail. If your dream career lies within the healthcare or social care industry, then the CACHE Level 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care provide much of the underpinning knowledge for the National Occupational Standards in Health and Social Care and therefore, acts as a robust introduction to the industry.

You will benefit from studying a number of mandatory units as well as a wide range of optional units. You will also undertake a 175-hour placement over 2 years, which will help you gain invaluable experience in your chosen career.

This qualification will provide you with an insight into the skills, qualities, knowledge and experience needed to enter a career in the health and social care profession.
