Do you work in a role that requires you to demonstrate an understanding of data protection and data security?
This qualification will help you to understand topics with include current data legislation, the purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), key principles of the general data protection regime and lawful basis for processing personal data.
You will also develop an understanding of organisational procedures concerning data, including steps organisations might take to protect the data they holding and the consequences of not protecting data.

Would you like to develop essential knowledge to carry out customer service tasks, such as how to manage information and supporting events in a variety of industries and job roles?

This qualification will provide you with the underpinning knowledge required to work in a range of different environments within a customer service role. You will understand what customer service is, its effective delivery and communication skills, the legal and ethical requirements relating to customer service and the different types of customers. You will gain an understanding of the relationship between good customer service and customer loyalty, and how this affects the organisation in terms of reputation and image.

You will also understand organisational structures and the differences between the private, public and voluntary sectors, be able to describe the internal and external influences on organisations and why change within the business environment is important.

Would you like to develop your knowledge and understanding required to successfully lead a team?

Focussing on leading a team in a business environment, you will develop your knowledge of the principles of team leading and the understanding of business practice. You will also gain the knowledge needed to support communication with a range of stakeholders at different levels.

Providing an understanding of leadership styles in organisations, you will develop knowledge of team dynamics and the techniques used to manage the work of teams. You will also gain an appreciation of the impact of change management and how a motivated team affects an organisation.

It will also provide an understanding of organisational structures, the business environment and knowledge of business reporting within an organisation.

Are you interested in a career in Adult Social Care?

This qualification is suitable as an introduction to working in health and social care and will enable you to understand more about what is involved. You will be introduced to some basic concepts of caring and will prepare you for employment in the sector.

Covering the essential areas of communication, equality, diversity and inclusion and personal development, it also provides knowledge of the role of the social care worker, handling information, health and safety, safeguarding, duty of care and person-centred approaches.

It is a must have for anyone taking the adult Intermediate Health and Social Care apprenticeship.
