Level 2 Hairdressing Professional

Step into the dynamic world of hairdressing with a Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeship, where you’ll develop practical skills tailored to meet the needs of each individual client while delivering a high standard of service.

During the apprenticeship, you will build the technical knowledge and skills required to carry out a range of hairdressing techniques, including colouring, cutting and styling. You will learn how to style, set, dress and finish hair using a variety of methods to create different looks, as well as perform hair shampooing, conditioning and scalp treatments.

Level 3 Advanced and Creative Hair Professional

Ready to start a career in hairdressing? A Level 3 Advanced Creative Hair Professional Apprenticeship could be the perfect next step. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to create, plan and promote your own collection of hairstyles, showcasing your creativity and technical ability.

During the apprenticeship, you will develop advanced skills in a range of hairdressing techniques, including cutting, colouring and styling. You will also learn how to research current and emerging fashion trends, design innovative hair looks, and carry out in depth client consultations and detailed hair analysis.

Level 2 Beauty Therapist

Looking to start a career in the beauty industry? A Level 2 Beauty Therapist Apprenticeship could be the perfect choice for you.

During this apprenticeship, you will develop the essential skills needed to consult with clients and learn how to safely use a variety of tools, equipment and techniques. You will also gain practical experience in delivering a range of beauty therapy treatments such as facials, nail care, massages and eyelash and eyebrow services. 

Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapist

As an Advanced Beauty Therapist, you will develop a wide range of advanced treatment skills while also having the opportunity to take on a leadership role within a team.

Key responsibilities of an Advanced Beauty Therapy Apprentice include carrying out advanced client consultations, delivering a range of specialised treatments and supporting the daily running of a salon environment.

A full-time job – all Apprentices are employed by a company where they will gain hands-on experience and expertise

Qualification – the apprentice will also study for a qualification at the same time as working. They may come into College once a week or they may study completely in the workplace.

Salary – An apprentice earns a salary.  Like any type of job role, the amount of money earned will depend on the employer.

Apprenticeships can be delivered through a variety of methods including a blend of one-to-one support, online training, College workshops and self-directed study. We will work with you and your employer to develop an individualised learning plan that works for you.

There are a wide range of apprenticeships for you to choose from starting at level 2 all the way up to level 6.

The length of your apprenticeship will depend on the job that you are doing, the standard that you are working towards and how much previous experience you have.

The length of an apprenticeship depends on the job you’re doing, your age and how much experience you have.

To be recognised as an apprentice you must be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per-week.
