Macclesfield College is thrilled to announce its participation in this year’s BRIT Challenge, an initiative by The British Inspiration Trust (BRIT) aimed at enhancing the mental health and fitness of young adults and students across the UK.
The BRIT Challenge, an annual inclusive feel-good fundraiser, bringing together various partners, including sport and education governing bodies, charities, institutions, businesses, and philanthropists, to collectively support the mental well-being of young adults. By collaborating with universities and colleges nationwide, BRIT encourages participation in the challenge while empowering teams to choose a second charity to raise funds for alongside BRIT, thereby extending the impact to local, regional, and national causes.
Macclesfield College is excited to be a part of this collaborative effort, contributing to the broader mission of promoting mental health awareness and fitness among young adults. The college recognises the importance of fostering a supportive community and is committed to actively engaging in the BRIT Challenge to make a positive impact.
BRIT remains relevant and understands the impact of mental health difficulties faced by young adults throughout the UK. Since 2012, universities, colleges, schools, and charities have hosted almost 800 visits to meet their students and staff, showcasing the organization’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the youth.
BRIT operates with a minimal overhead approach, relying on the support of corporations, philanthropists, and partners who share their ethos. Macclesfield College is proud to align itself with this vision and looks forward to contributing to the success of the BRIT Challenge.
