Macclesfield College Celebrates Student Success at Annual Awards Evening

On Thursday 26th June, Macclesfield College hosted one of the highlights of the academic year, its annual Student Awards Evening at the Tytherington Club.

The evening brought together students, staff and their families and friends to reflect on the past year and celebrate the incredible achievements of our students.

Awards were presented across a wide range of subject areas, recognising not only academic success but also personal growth, resilience and contributions to college life.

The prestigious title of Overall Student of the Year was awarded to Hairdressing student, Amelia Maguire, who was praised for her dedication, positive attitude and consistently high standards throughout her time at college.

Charlotte Bennett, Centre Principal, said:

“It was a real pleasure to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our students. The awards evening is always a great event – it’s a chance to pause and recognise the journeys our students have been on and the determination and passion they bring to everything they do. Amelia, along with all our award winners, should be incredibly proud of what they’ve accomplished.”
