Macclesfield College’s Apprenticeship Open Event proved to be a fantastic success, with a brilliant turnout and a 61% increase in registrations compared to last year. The strong response reflects the growing interest in apprenticeships and the continued work taking place across the College to promote these opportunities.
The annual event welcomed a steady flow of visitors eager to explore apprenticeship opportunities and connect with local employers. Prospective apprentices, students and parents attended throughout the evening to discover more about the wide range of sectors available.
Visitors had the opportunity to speak with Macclesfield College’s specialist apprenticeship team and gain insight into how apprenticeships combine employment with high quality training, offering a practical and rewarding route into skilled careers.
A key highlight of the event was the strong presence of the College’s employer partners. A wide range of businesses joined the event to showcase the opportunities they offer and speak directly with attendees about career pathways and the skills they are looking for in future apprentices. Their involvement helped create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere, giving visitors valuable insight into the world of work.
