Macclesfield College is delighted to share that it has retained its position as the top performing college in Cheshire and Warrington for 16–19 Education and Training, following the publication of the latest Department for Education (DfE) National Achievement Rate Tables published March 2026, based on achievement data for the 2024/25 academic year.
The data confirms that the College remains number one in the region for a second consecutive year, reflecting consistently strong outcomes for students and a continued focus on high-quality education.
Rachel Kay, CEO and Principal of Macclesfield College, said:

We are committed to supporting every student to succeed and progress, and it’s fantastic to see that reflected so clearly in the data.”
