Macclesfield College is celebrating a double success after being recognised at the prestigious North Cheshire Business Awards, held at Mottram Hall on Friday 3 July.

The College’s Marketing Team was named Highly Commended in the Team of the Year category, recognising the creativity, dedication and impact of their work in supporting students, staff, employers and the wider community.

Adding to the celebrations, Principal and CEO Rachel Kay was crowned Businessperson of the Year, recognising her outstanding leadership and contribution to education, skills and the North Cheshire business community.

The annual awards celebrate the achievements of businesses, organisations and individuals from across the region, with this year’s event marking the 15th anniversary of the awards.

The recognition comes during a landmark year for the College, reflecting the hard work, passion and commitment of colleagues across the organisation in delivering high quality education and creating opportunities for students and employers alike.
