Looking to start a career in the motor vehicle industry? A Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship could be the perfect next step for you. As a motor vehicle service and maintenance technician, your main role will be to service, maintain and repair light vehicles, including cars and vans, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.
During this apprenticeship, you will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to inspect and service vehicles, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to industry standards. You will also learn how to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a safe and professional workshop environment.
A full-time job – all Apprentices are employed by a company where they will gain hands-on experience and expertise
Qualification – the apprentice will also study for a qualification at the same time as working. They may come into College once a week or they may study completely in the workplace.
Salary – An apprentice earns a salary. Like any type of job role, the amount of money earned will depend on the employer.
