The evening, hosted by Director of Apprenticeships, Tracy Cosgrave, celebrated the Apprentices outstanding achievements, hard work and commitment to both their qualification and workplace.
More than 70 selected guests attended, including key partner employers of the College, Tutors/Assessors and members of the College’s Senior Management team.
Fifteen ‘Apprentice of The Year’ Awards were presented to students from a wide variety of Sector areas from Project Management, Electrical and Construction to Human Resources and Healthcare Science to name a few.
An additional award was also presented on the evening, ‘The Special Recognition Award’ developed to recognise one of the Colleges very own apprentices; Morgan Galley, for the outstanding work she has done throughout her time within the Maxim Team and the progress made throughout.
The Star of the evening however, was Thomas Fletcher who was awarded with the title of ‘Macclesfield College Overall Apprentice of the Year’
Tracy Cosgrave, Director of Apprentices said: ‘Celebrating the achievement of our apprentices is always a special night and it was such a pleasure to be able to invite our winners and their employers back into the college to celebrate their success. We heard some amazing stories of apprentices across all sectors, who have made a huge impact in their place of work and who have gone on to achieve the very highest grades in their End Point Assessment.’
