Macclesfield College Ranked No.1 in Cheshire and Warrington for 16–19 Education and Training
Macclesfield College is proud to announce it has been officially recognised as the top performing college in Cheshire and Warrington for 16–19 Education and Training in the latest Department for Education (DfE) National Achievement Rate Tables, published in March 2025.
The data, which reflects performance from the 2023–24 academic year, confirms Macclesfield College as the leading choice for young learners across the region.
The College also continues to excel in apprenticeships, ranking first across Cheshire for General Further Education Colleges and second across Greater Manchester for apprenticeship achievement rates, further demonstrating its commitment to delivering high-quality, work ready education.
