What you will study

Joining our Engineering courses at the College provides you with a thorough curriculum focused on key engineering skills. In our well equipped workshop, you'll cover essential topics, including engineering fundamentals, engineering materials, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering drawing, CAD/CAM, engineering mathematics, health and safety, engineering design and engineering applications.

Upon finishing one of our Engineering courses, you’ll develop a solid understanding of your career options and can move on to higher qualifications in the field.

This pathway opens numerous opportunities in the engineering sector, enabling you to pursue roles like engineering technician, project engineer or design engineer, where you can significantly contribute to advancing and enhancing our modern infrastructure.

Level 1

Minimum GCSE Entry Requirements:
Mostly grades 4s in maths or English

Progression:
Upon completing this level, you can advance to a Level 2 Diploma or start an apprenticeship.

Level 2

Minimum GCSE Entry Requirements:
Grade 4 in maths, English & science

Progression:
Upon completing this level, you can advance to a T Level or start an apprenticeship.

Level 3 / T Level

Minimum entry requirements:
5 grade 4-9s including maths or English (Both for T level)

Progression:
Upon completing, you can advance to University or a Higher Level Apprenticeship.

Higher Education

Higher Education At College Or Related Degrees Such As: Biomedical
