T-Level students choose an Occupational Specialism, such as supporting midwifery or adult nursing, gaining the knowledge and skills needed for employment or further study. Our on-site simulated hospital ward offers practical, hands on experience to build essential competencies for a Health and Social Care career.

Upon completing one of our Health and Social Care courses, you’ll develop a solid understanding of your career options and can move on to higher qualifications in the field.
This pathway opens numerous opportunities in the Health and Social Care sector, enabling you to pursue roles like professional caregiver, healthcare assistant, social care manager or midwife. Additionally, you may choose to further your education and training to become a nurse, midwife or allied health professional, significantly contributing to the wellbeing and care of individuals and communities.

Leah Wood was recognised as the Health and Social Care Student of the Year 2024 for her outstanding achievements and exemplary qualities. Known for her empathy, kindness and trustworthiness, Leah has made a significant impact on her teachers, peers and placement service users.
Her dedication and compassion were evident throughout her studies and she has proudly achieved the first Nursing degree apprenticeship at Macclesfield Hospital. Leah also excelled as an ambassador going above and beyond to support college open events.
