Early College Closure – Monday 5 January at 3pm.
Due to current weather conditions and the forecast for the remainder of the day, Macclesfield College will close early today, Monday 5 January.
College transport has been contacted and the following arrangements are in place:
There will be staff on site until 5.00pm, so if students are unable to be collected earlier, they should not worry.
This decision has been taken to prioritise the safety of our students and staff. Please take extra care when travelling home.
Online Learning – Tuesday 6 January
On Tuesday 6 January, the College will move to online learning for all courses due to low temperatures and the forecast weather conditions. A significant number of our staff and students travel considerable distances to attend College and this approach helps ensure everyone’s safety.
Please check ItsLearning for updates and instructions from your teachers. If you were due to sit an exam in College on this day please do not worry, your exam will be rescheduled and further information will be shared in due course.
Please note that all adult classes are postponed and will now start next week.

If no further updates are posted, please assume the College will reopen as usual on Wednesday 7 January.
