Who are these courses for?

English & Maths Functional Skills qualifications are designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills that will enable you to operate confidently, effectively and independently in life, education and work.

These courses are particularly suitable for those who do not have a GCSE Grade 4 (C), and who want to gain a nationally recognised qualification. Studying Functional Skills is not just about developing essential Maths and English knowledge, but also learning when and how to apply your knowledge in real life situations.
