Frequently asked questions
Can we get the bus the day of our induction and how will we know where it stops?

All students will be able to travel on the college bus for the first week till there pass has been printed on their student ID. After the first week without this you may be refused travel. If this is the case you will need to speak to the team on reception to assist you in resolving.

If the uniform hasn’t come what do I wear?

Depending on course, suitable clothing and footwear is advised.

When do we get our timetables?

Upon induction of their first week starting.

If we are on holiday during enrolment what do I do and will I lose my place?

All places aren’t guaranteed or held. Places aren’t confirmed till you have come in person to enrol. If you are away we advise to come as soon as you can to do so. Nobody else can enrol on your behalf.

If we can’t afford to pay for the uniform or buses what do we do?

Please speak to our student services team who will be available throughout enrolment and throughout the year.

When will the timetables be finalised?

All timetables are usually complete for the first week of starting at the college. As you can understand this is a big job for our MIS team, so some minor problems/delays may occur. Please speak with your tutor or the learner experience team who can help with this matter.

When will the students get their bus passes?

If you have completed an application for the bus this will be printed on your student ID you receive on your first day of college. If this isn’t printed please speak with the learner experience team or student services to resolve.

How many days a week will the students be in (part of the timetable question I suppose)

Usually 2-3 days depending on course and if having to study maths and/or English.
