Progression
Upon finishing one of our Hairdressing and/or Beauty Therapy courses, you’ll develop a solid understanding of your career options and can move on to higher qualifications in the field.
You may choose to specialise further in areas such as advanced hairstyling, beauty treatments or salon management or you can seek apprenticeships for practical, industry experience.
Level 1
Minimum GCSE Entry Requirements:
Mostly grades 3-1
Progression:
Upon completing this level, you can advance to a Level 2 Diploma or start an apprenticeship.
Level 2
Minimum GCSE Entry Requirements:
4 x grade 3s Level 1 in Hair/Beauty
Progression:
Upon completing this level, you can advance to a Level 3 Diploma or start an apprenticeship.
Level 3
Minimum entry requirements:
5 grade 4-9s including maths or English & Level 2 Hair/Beauty
Progression:
You can advance to University or a Higher Level Apprenticeship.

Building on a Distinction in Level 2, Rachel’s dedication to client care, punctuality and peer support, along with her impactful promotion of the College, left a lasting impression.
Skye Lee was named as Beauty Therapy Student of the Year 2024, excelling with outstanding attendanceand exceptional practical skills. Her helpfulness, respectfulness and positive attitude made her a standout in the programme. As she advances to the Level 2 Beauty Therapy course, we are excited to see her continued success.
