Bricklaying at the College means engaging in practical, industry focused learning. You'll cover essential skills such as safe construction practices, effective communication and various building methods. Practical experience includes brick and block laying, cavity wall construction and setting out masonry structures up to damp course level.

The curriculum incorporates safety, health and welfare in construction, alongside principles of construction and quantities. You'll also learn to produce thin joint
masonry, build solid walling and piers and interpret working drawings accurately. This comprehensive approach prepares you for a successful career in
bricklaying, ready to contribute to construction projects with confidence.
