Each aspect of the programme is designed to boost your confidence, develop responsibility and lay a strong foundation for your future.
At Macclesfield College, the Pathways Department is here to help you find the right course for your unique learning needs. Whether you require additional learning support (ALS) or a smooth transition from school, we offer tailored courses in small class sizes.
Students will be assessed and added to the appropriate course matched to their learning level. All students will build essential skills and confidence, as well as explore your interests with the support of our team.
After completing the Pathways Programme, you will have flexible progression options. You may advance to a Level 1 programme in subjects such as Art, Business or Health & Social Care, or choose a Level 1 Certificate in Pathways to build more experience and confidence. If a more work based practical route is favoured, our Supported Internship Program may be the preferred route.
As part of your personalised learning plan, we will align your goals with the right progression route, ensuring you have the support and guidance to explore a wide range of future opportunities.
