This course has been designed to show you more advanced methods in machine sewing, within various more advanced patterns so that you can make products from a wide choice from more advanced dresses and garments to soft furnishings taking on board the design aspects of this.
You will learn the skills which could take your garments to the next level, so that you can carry out the production of more intricate patterns and develop speed and dexterity around the sewing equipment.
No previous experience required.
The course will give more advanced information on:
Advanced techniques using a sewing machine
Reading complex pattern
Advanced Finishing techniques
You will learn about various fabrics and their suitability for end use. You will also learn about different methods used when working with these more advanced patterns.

Progression to making your own garments to sell or use
You can bring your own sewing machine and sewing equipment. We will discuss fabrics and patterns in the first week so don’t bring until we let you know!
