This course has been designed to help you explore digital photography using DSLRs and how to improve your photography.
The majority of class time is devoted to working in the photography studios and building your knowledge, where you will learn new skills and techniques and create a range of images by experimenting with digial cameras and making mistakes.
We will discuss the works of other photographers, both traditional and contemporary, to further your understanding of contextual references and to inspire your own artworks.
No previous experience required.

You may wish to study on the Level 2 Photography Certificate course, or explore other A&D leisure courses such as editing photography, darkroom photography, ceramics, painting and drawing, life drawing or garment making.
We will have cameras to use in class, however if you have your own digital SLR camera please bring that. All equipment and products required to particapiate in the course will be provided by the college and remain the property of the college.
