This testing and inspection training course is for experienced electricians who are responsible for periodic inspection and certification of electrical installations.

The 2391 Inspection and Testing has no formal entry requirements, however we highly recommend that you have an already existing knowledge of Electrical Installations and onsite practice before Booking. The 2382 18th Edition will be a huge benefit towards your learning.
Modules breakdown
The course focuses on the specific methods required for inspecting and testing all types of electrical installations, both single and three-phase in accordance with the current BS 7671 requirements.
It encompasses the inspection and testing techniques as outlined in IET Guidance Note 3, along with how to professionally complete Certification and Reports.

• Continuity of protective conductors
• Continuity of ring final circuit conductors
• Insulation resistanceearth electrode resistance
• Polarity and phase sequencing
• Earth fault loop impedance
• Prospective fault current
• Earth fault loop impedance
• RCD testing

• Safe isolation of electrical circuits and installations
• Requirements for initial verification of electrical installations
