On this course you will learn a variety of ceramics techniques. Ranging from slab building and coiling all the way to nerikomi and wheel throwing. You will make pieces using a range of different clays, decorate using underglazes and oxides, then finally go on to glazing.

You will study a variety of topics including: Clay Preparation, Coiling, Slab Building, Decorative Techniques, Stained Clay, Nerikomi, Throwing, Pinch Pots, Kurinuki, Slipcasting, Personal Exploration and Finalising Work Learners may work on personal projects alongside the weekly theme, allowing more experienced students to develop their own ideas while beginners build confidence with core skills
There is no formal assessment though you will be given feedback on your work.
