In Beauty Therapy, you will cover a variety of key areas. You will learn to provide facial skincare, remove hair using waxing and offer manicure and pedicure treatments. Additionally, you'll provide eyelash and brow treatments and deliver make-up services. These are just some of the elements you will learn, with the full curriculum covering a wide range of beauty therapy skills.

In Hairdressing, you will master fundamental techniques. You will learn to cut colour and lighten hair whilst also learning to perm and neutralise hair. You'll also explore the art of dressing hair. Progression
Upon finishing one of our Hairdressing and/or Beauty Therapy courses, you’ll develop a solid understanding of your career options and can move on to higher qualifications in the field.
You may choose to specialise further in areas such as advanced hairstyling, beauty treatments or salon management or you can seek apprenticeships for practical, industry experience.

Minimum GCSE Entry Requirements:
Mostly grades 3-1
Progression:
Upon completing this level, you can advance to a Level 2 Diploma or start an apprenticeship.

Minimum GCSE Entry Requirements:
4 x grade 3s Level 1 in Hair/Beauty

Upon completing this level, you can advance to a Level 3 Diploma or start an apprenticeship.

Minimum entry requirements:
5 grade 4-9s including maths or English & Level 2 Hair/Beauty
