Why study here?

Macclesfield College has excellent resources to support students in preparing for a career in childcare. Our childcare department has the most up-to-date baby simulation technology. Our lifelike, new-born size mannequins simulate an infant’s varying needs and require an immediate response. These newborn mannequins give students the perfect representation of whats its really like to care for small children.

Our childcare teachers have extensive experience, within the sector and in teaching students. They also have valuable links to employers which will help students gain a greater insight into different career paths in the industry. During our childcare courses, you will participate in a work placement. This will allow you to learn about all areas of childcare, as well as gain the vital experience needed to work within the childcare industry.
